BON VOYAGE!

Happy Easter, everyone!

Tomorrow, April 10th, is the day! We will stage off Key Largo and head across the stream early Saturday morning. If you follow this blog/journal you can just click on the the thumbnail size picture of Freyja in the yard and that will take you to our blog/log of this trip. Or go to www.exuma3.blogspot.com. Internet service will be intermittent but we will update when we can. We expect to be home the end of June. Bon Voyage!

THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!

My favorite Captain from flight attendant days is in town for the week! John and I have LOTS of history together - Havana, Key West, New York City, London (lots of London!), Switzerland, Ireland, Scotland, The Netherlands....we remember the stories differently but we both remember how much fun we had! Over dinner last night we talked and laughed and marvelled at how easily we reconnect. Love you, John!

John and his beautiful wife, Sallie

Sallie's boys, Tyler and Michael

OPENING DAY!

Watch out! Here come the Florida Marlins - the youngest team in baseball - average age, 26 - and the lowest combined salary in the league. Opening day game - we crushed the Washington Nationals 12-6. Go Marlins!

MOMMA AND HER BABY

A mother manatee and her baby found their way up our canal today. Each time it happens we consider it a special gift to be able to observe them. Note the prop scars on Momma - all healing, though. (click on picture to enlarge) The second picture is of the baby nursing. How sweet is that?!
