BEAUTIFUL CAPE COD

Alina and I always go on a girl's trip this time of year to celebrate her birthday.  This year we packed off to Cape Cod to visit our friends Co and Arthur.  We flew into Boston and took a train to their home in Northboro, MA.  After a lovely evening there - talking Co's famous Armenian  food!! - the 5 girls drove to Cape Cod the next morning -  the 3 of us and Co's 2 dogs, Trixie and Daisy.  Arthur stayed home to prepare his Model-T for a parade on the week-end.  He and Co are both collectors of old cars.  Co has had a beach cottage on Cape Cod Bay for many years and we were thrilled to be there on East Sandwich Beach and see the sights accompanied by a local!

Alina and I took off and did a little exploring.  This is a rope bridge through the marsh.  We fell in love with the marsh side of the island - so beautiful!

Early Wednesday morning we drove to Provincetown, at the tip of Cape Cod.  It's about a 75 mile ride with gorgeous scenery the whole way.  We stopped at assorted places along the way.  P-town, as the locals call, is picturesque - a bit like Key West, with a huge Portugese influence.  We were charmed!
