MOMMA AND HER BABY

A mother manatee and her baby found their way up our canal today. Each time it happens we consider it a special gift to be able to observe them. Note the prop scars on Momma - all healing, though. (click on picture to enlarge) The second picture is of the baby nursing. How sweet is that?!

    Great photos. Always love seeing manatees. Now if we can just bring back flogging for those who speed in manatee zones.
